July 25, 2016 – Napa, CA –Habitat for Humanity announced plans to build its first home from scratch in Napa, and Napa Valley Bistro is happy to raise funds for the project. The Habitat for Humanity Dine & Donate on August 9th is sure to raise much needed funds for a local family’s home.
Forty years ago, Habitat for Humanity began its mission of providing affordable housing to low income families in the United States, and eventually, the world. In that time, the organization has grown to become one of the most recognizable charities on the planet, and has succeeded in building hundreds of thousands of homes. Habitat for Humanity relies completely on generous contributors, companies and fundraisers.
At the August 9th Dine & Donate, Napa Valley Bistro, considered one of the best restaurants in Napa, will donate 15 percent of sales to Habitat for Humanity. The funds go directly to the local project, so all money collected will remain in the Napa community.
The event lasts all day, so guests can enjoy some of the highly rated lunch cuisine, and return for a quiet dinner in the evening. Collections begin at 11:30 A.M. and will continue through 9 P.M. Reservations are available now.
